Uv-Curable Powder Coatings

UV curing is a photochemical process in which high intensity UV light is used to cure powder coatings or adhesives. The UV formulation is monomers and oligomers mixed with a small proportion of photoinitiator, then exposed to UV energy. Under UV energy the powder instantly ‘hardens’ or cures within a few seconds.

Polyester-methacrylate UV cured powder coating is durable and functional for various products.UV series is an excellent coating for mdf, metal, plastic, composite, glass and other sensitive applications. UV curing is a state-of-the-art coating method with numerous benefits ranging from speed and energy efficiency to environmental impact.

Technical Details

The processes and raw materials used comply with EIA regulations and future restrictions on volatile organic compounds. This emphasises the commitment to being environmentally responsible. Conductive and non-conductive heat sensitive parts can be coated with the RXCOAT-UV series.
